Frequently asked questions

What is the cfx.re licence key?

A free key generated on portal.cfx.re, required for your server to appear in the FiveM server list. We generate and install it for you — or you provide your own when ordering.

ESX or QBCore, what’s the difference?

Two “city” frameworks: ESX Legacy is the most widespread (tons of compatible scripts), QBCore/Qbox is more modern and modular. Both install cleanly via txAdmin — pick at order time, we deploy.

How many concurrent players?

Our guidelines: ≈32 slots on 4 GB, ≈64 on 8 GB, ≈128 on 16 GB — depending on how heavy your scripts are. Honest guidelines, not arbitrary caps.

Can you migrate my current server?

Yes, for free: send us your resources and a database export — we put everything back in place.

File access and txAdmin?

Full SFTP access to the server plus txAdmin (in-game and web administration). Credentials wait for you in the Access tab of your service.

Do I need GTA V?

Players do: a legal copy of GTA V plus the free FiveM client. On the server side, we handle everything — the game isn’t needed.
